Problem :
Managing personal health records is often fragmented across multiple providers, clinics, and systems. Patients struggle to keep a consistent history of their lab results, while physicians lack a unified view of past exams and evolving biomarkers. Existing health apps offered limited tracking, lacked medical accuracy, and often failed to integrate actionable insights based on lab values.
Solution :
We designed HealthyMeter as a dual-purpose platform: a personal health companion for patients and a clinical reference for doctors.
The solution focused on three key areas:
Data centralization: A unified repository of lab tests and clinical documents accessible at any time.
Health analytics: Historical tracking of biomarkers with visual trends and progress indicators, enabling users to understand their health trajectory over years.
AI-powered recommendations: Personalized suggestions derived from biomarker values and patterns, offering actionable steps to support preventive care and chronic condition management.
Challenge :
The main challenge was to design a platform capable of consolidating decades of medical data into one interface while remaining simple and intuitive for patients. At the same time, the product needed to provide physicians with reliable, detailed analytics to support chronic disease management and preventive care. Balancing accessibility for non-technical users with the depth required for healthcare professionals was essential.
